Every item made at EKL is inspected in our Quality Lab. The lab is staffed on every shift with qualified personnel. The lead inspector has more than 25 years of experience in this discipline.

All tools are laser etched with EKL serial number, customer part number, and date.

The Quality Lab is kept at a constant temperature, and this temperature is documented on all inspection reports.

A profilometer is used to check surface finish, which is also documented on all inspection reports.

A Zeiss CMM – providing the highest level of accuracy available - is used to inspect all critical dimensions.

All inspection instruments are calibrated on a schedule that exceeds the OEM requirements.
