MACHINIST

To Perform machining tasks as directed by their supervisor in a safe and timely manner. Types of machines include one or more of: CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Jig Grinding, ID/OD Grinding, Surface Grinding, Wire and Sinking EDM as well as other Machine Shop support equipment.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Set up, adjust, and monitor machines according to provided specifications

  • Inspect parts and make adjustments to ensure quality is maintained

  • Transport completed parts to next work centers

  • Maintain a clean and professional work center

  • Complete basic maintenance on machines

  • Complete work on schedule

Job Description: 

 
Requirements:

 

  • Related associate degree, certificate or minimum of 2 years work experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Willing and able to learn quickly

  • Follow written and verbal instructions

  • Candidate should perform work in a safe, organized, and timely manner

  • Ability to lift 50 LBs

  • Ability to stand and perform other physical acts for entirety of scheduled work
